Lonzo Ball changed up brands yet again and laced up the yet-to-release UA Curry 4 against the Brooklyn Nets in today’s Summer League game. Lonzo is going through a sneaker “free agency” period after the Nike, adidas, and Under Armour all passed on signing the UCLA product because of the hefty demands by his father Lavar, wearing shoes from all three brands in the past three games. Lavar Ball says that an opportunity for a deal is still out there, so for now Lonzo will continue to try out different shoes as Summer League continues.
The question now is: Will Steph Curry post a video on Instagram with an Under Armour slogan, just like LeBron and James Harden did? For what it’s worth, we totally predicted that Lonzo would lace up a pair of Curry shoes.
